We arrived in this white village around 2pm and almost everything was closed, except for this cosy place! Their terrace was located in the shade, really nice and there was only a hand full of people.
We ordered vino bianco and antipasti to share together. Well the antipasti were 11 (!) different and delicious bites. See the photos. Cold, hot, traditional food, all very tasty!
We ordered a first course, pasta, as well but that was too much, although it tasted as well delicious!
The service was quick and good, although a bit more time between the courses would have been preferred.

Lovely place for dinner in the heart of Ceglie. Food comes so quickly and it so delicious. Also it is one if not many restaurants in the city that opens early for dinner :)

The restaurant is lovely located. You should definitely get the starters, it’s a lot and everything tastes amazing! Pasta was also delicious and you get homemade liquor in the end as a treat. Reservation recommended during high season.

An off-the-cuff ‘drop-in’ occasion - and what a treat! Sitting in a quiet little side street, the hosts were most obliging in setting up a table for eight! The food was absolutely terrific - the freshest pasta and sea food, great wine and tremendous hospitality. It was a terrific local Puglia experience, and highly recommend giving it a try!

We had a wonderful lunch here. They have many traditional pugliese dishes - fava bean puree with vegetables and orrecchitte con cime di rapa were both excellent. We even got an appetizer on the house - fried cheese balls, very yummy. Also very pretty plates and good service. They also had a delicious red wine by the glass. They have a good spot close the square.

A very nice lunch, staff were friendly. the Antipasti was excellent, didn’t have room for anything else sadly. lots of lovely food, Pork shoulder tonnato, fried Anchovies, courgette tart, mussels, Arancini, Polpette Di Pane, Tuna tartare, fried artichokes and a salt cod. Location was quiet, sitting outside in the sunshine.

We had an excellent time on the cozy terrace of Vino Fritti e Cucina. We ordered the antipasti for two persons and got inundated with so many different dishes that we got a bit overwhelmed at first. Every dish was very tasty and the red wine we drank with our meal was good as well, although served too warm to my taste.
Do yourself a favour by ordering only the antipasti. Rest assured that you'll be full enough to not need a main dish. And if you'll still feel a bit peckish afterwards, you can always order dessert.
To top off the meal we got offered limoncello on the house. Not just two glasses, but a whole bottle of limoncello! Appreciated!

Amazing evening meal. The anti pasti consisted of seven separate dishes bought out over half an hour. It was a stunning selection of local specialities. Our mains were all hit including one of the party who ate donkey! Apparently the first tourist to do so and he absolutely loved it.

Absolutely lovely place, one of the restaurants we eat the best in Puglia, much better than restaurants with bigger ratings in bigger towns. The viel was tender, and the pomodoro sauce was out of this world. They were serving a local ricotta tart which was also amazing, and very generous with the snapps at the end of the meal. We were well taken care of. Warmly recommend ❤️

Superb food. The char-grilled Padrone peppers in tomato sauce, was Exceptional!! ❤️. The pork with black potato was delicious 😋. Definitely worth a visit.

Had a great lunchtime meal here. It’s so affordable and a great outlook to the local street. The staff were friendly and we even got some complimentary appetizers too. Highly recommend.
